A project manager is the direct representative of the project owner. His responsibility is to manage a project in the owner's best interests, with loyalty only to the project owner.

The objective of the Project Manager is to complete the project within the outlined project scope, as early as possible and within budget, while simultaneously meeting high quality standards.

The role of the project manager is typically to:

  • Organize surveys and feasibility studies

  • Oversee architectural, structural, mechanical and all design work

  • Prepare documentation for tender, supervise the tender process

  • Prepare contracts, and awards contracts with owners approval

  • Supervise construction and payments to the contractor, suppliers, subcontractors and other consultants

  • Oversee the quality of work

  • Keep the contract to schedule

  • Provide overall project cost controls

  • Provide Construction Management
